It is very exciting for me to offer you my original cookbook Easy as ABZD, which features some popular recipes from my Sicilian grandmother Josephine.

This book is a blend of recipes from different cultures and most are named after a contributing friend or family member and has a personal story attached. Each dish was recreated in our kitchens with special attention to the "Yum Factor."

I am working on a second book which will have some great new recipes, featuring more authentic Italian recipes from other family members and more delicious recipes from some of my closest friends.

Classic delicious and easy to make recipes from appetizers to desserts.

Beginner cooks can easily make these as most recipes are explained with simple step-by-step directions. There are hints for easier cooking and tips to make variations on the recipes. Many of the dishes are Italian inspired with basic recipes using everyday ingredients.

Stuffed Mushrooms, Minestrone Soup, Broccoli Salad, Manicotti, Lasagna, Western Stew, Egg Rolls, Irish Soda Bread, Amaretto Cheesecake, Chocolate Brownies, Fig Cookies, and more.

Throughout the book you will also find some anecdotes and interesting information on Italian life and folklore. The meaning and history behind some of the ingredients and dishes, plus how easy they are to cook.

About the Author: Born in Brooklyn, NY and raised by her mother's family, Vickie  loved being in the kitchen with her Grandmother learning to cook. The family eventually  moved upstate to Ulster County in 1969, and she lived upstairs from the family restaurant.  She made her first pizza at age eight and from a young age, she helped out in the restaurant until she moved to Florida in 1979.  She now lives in Georgia near her married daughter.
